Resumen:
In this GAP note, we present the SiPM and electronics simulation of the UMDfinal design implemented in the Off line software. The code was developed and vali-dated with laboratory data acquired using identical components as in the productionphase. Both analogical SiPM pulses and digital traces after the front-end board wereacquired and compared to simulation outputs. The first using customized electronicsand the second with the same electronic kits as used in the UMD production. Themain features of both counter and integrator channels relevant to the detector per-formance are discussed and the agreement between simulated and laboratory data isshown. Finally, in the appendix, we comment on the implementation and use of theAMIGA SiPM simulations in Off line.
