Resumen:
The Goals of this work:1. To value the bioclimatic performance of modern hospital architecture.2. To determine the importance of bioenvironmental design in the buildings analyzed.3. To define the thermal-energy efficiency of the buildings in discussion after climate change.4. To Infer if the aspects of general design are enough to achieve an efficient architecture from the pointof view of thermal comfort and energy savings. The geographical and climatic conditions of the locality under study and the solar geometry are defined. The general strategies are determined and the particular guidelines are selected for the bioenvironmental zonewhere the health center is located, according to IRAM Norm 11603: 1996 "Bioenvironmental Classification of theArgentine Republic".An architectural and technological analysis of both examples considered is developed in which the orientationsare studied: ventilation and solar protections. Technological analysis of the envelope is also developed in whichwe see that the calculation of the ?G? coefficients of energy are made for cooling and heating the inpatient?srooms.Among the multiple works carried out by the regionalist architect Eduardo Sacriste in the province ofTucumán, there are two health care buildings: The Children?s hospital Niño Jesús and the Institute ofMaternity and Gynecology Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes. Both are emblematic examples of the modernmovement in Argentina.
