Resumen:
This paper includes the mathematical models for a steel milling process, modeled and based on the objectoriented modeling INCO DC 96-2076 project [10]. The design techniques used in the work are presented as well. The rolling mill process is described along with its different system components. The present work is based on canonical dynamic algorithms for the dynamical process of the rolling mill and other processes of the general system. The simulation system was built as a reconfigurable modular object, which can be adapted structurally and parametrically on different facility configurations and functionally modes. The reconfigurability is ensured by modular organization of the simulation model, which accumulate libraries of reusable sub models.
