This paper presents the design and development ofmedical diagnostic equipment for detection of hearing loss innewborns using the methods of otoacustic emissions and evokedpotentials. This equipment must be completed with regulatoryrequirements of the Argentina agency of medical equipment(ANMAT), as well as high safety requirements and performance.The overall objective of the project is to achieve a competitivedevice using advances electronics, embedded system and signalanalysis.
