Resumen:
The initial vacuum state of the inflaton is perfectly isotropic and homogeneous. Standard inflationary evolution can not account for the rupture of symmetries that give birth to the observed structure.Self-induced collapse of the wave function of the inflaton field is an additional hypothesis introduced during the inflation period, proposed by Dr. Sudarsky et al. In particular, Continuous Spontaneous Localization (CSL) modifies the Schrödinger equation and can be adapted to a cosmological context to provide a natural evolving collapse mechanism during inflation. This proposal can be tested with the latest cosmological data.
