Simultaneous inoculation with beneficial and pathogenic microorganisms modifies peanut responses triggered when interact individually with each microorganism

The objective of this work was to link the phenotypic changes of peanut plants inoculated simultaneously with Bradyrhizobium sp. SEMIA 6144, Bacillus sp. CHEP5 and Sclerotium rolfsii, with variations in molecules involved in peanut responses to each microorganism. We found that PX activity associated with the response to S. rolfsii is induced earlier and higher in plants inoculated with the three microorganisms that in plants inoculated only with the pathogen...Our results demonstrate that each molecular pathway triggered in peanut when interacts with only one of these microorganisms is modified in the presence of the others. In some cases, it was possible to link phenotypic changes to variations in molecules involved in the biological effect induced by each microorganism.
