Resumen:
We study the chemical properties of the intracluster medium (ICM) using the semi-analytic model of galaxy formation and evolution SAG applied to cosmological N-body/SPH simulations of clusters of galaxies. Among the galaxy properties obtained from SAG; we have the ejection rates of metals that pollute the ICM. The different chemical elements are distributed over the gas particles of the simulations located around each galaxy; these particles trace the hot gas thermodynamical properties. Using this technique; a top-heavy integrated galactic stellar initial mass function allows to obtain radial metallicity profiles of the ICM in better agreement with observations than those given by the Salpeter IMF; which produces a deficiency of iron in the ICM.
