Resumen:
Resilient architecture is one in which buildings can be reused, so that in adverse situations they can adapt to changes in a efficiently way.The built heritage reuse is the set of actions that are carried out so that the architectural object can fulfill a new life cycle. This reuse must adapt to the demands of contemporary use, technological needs and comfort; but without losing its character, which also remains representative and part of the collective memory of those who inhabit the area. The decision to recover spaces implies the appropriate choice of functions that allow dignifying the built heritage of any era, enriching the identity and culture of a society. Likewise, it is important from the sustainability point of view because: it implies an important energy saving, rationally takes advantage of natural resources, materials, etc. of the site, decreases the demand for them and generates less waste. In the city of San Miguel de Tucumán, in the last 15 years, multiple functionalization works were carried out on historical heritage building value, by private and state organizations. The following work proposes the cases analysis, evaluating mainly the adaptation oriented to the environmental conditioning of the buildings, as well as the respect for the environmental criteria that were taken into account in the original projection of the building. The examples analyzed are: The ?City House? Museum (ex Sucar House), ?Spanish Walk? Commercial Gallery (ex Spanish Bank), ?Mercedes Sosa? Theater (ex Plaza Cinema), Tucumán Turism Autonomous Entity (ex Nougues House), Tucumán Economic Federation (ex Frías Helguera House), ?El Abasto? Center (ex Abasto Market), ?The Point/House? Building (ex LV12 Radio Headquarters).
