Resumen:
We present fully relativistic structure calculations for Ta (Z=73), Pt (Z=78), Th (Z=90) andU (Z=92). The method uses the parametric potential model to obtain a unique potential. Thisenables us to represent both bound and continuum states on the same footing, being of greatinterest for inelastic collisional calculations. The description of heavy atoms requires thesolution of the relativistic Dirac equation. We used the HULLAC code package [1] to obtainaccurate relativistic one-electron orbitals and multiconfiguration bound states and energies.The calculations are based on first-order perturbation theory with a central field, includingthe Breit interaction and quantum electrodynamics corrections. The detailed energy levelsare computed using the RELAC code [2]. This model consists in minimizing the first-orderrelativistic energy of a given set of configurations for a parametric analytical function.
