The high voltage transmission and distributionlines are source of electromagnetic fields, it can produce aBiological effects on the human body, animals and plants whichhave been a subject of scientific interest for the risk on the livingorganisms such as blood leukemia, cancer and others. Thepresent paper evaluates the electromagnetic field induced by thehigh voltage overhead transmission line OTL and their effects onthe human body, by numerical modeling in COMSOLMultiphysics software using finite elements method. In addition,the sensitivity of the results when considering the human bodywith its internal organs is estimated.
