Resumen:
Based on the change of the productive and energeticmatrix of Ecuador, that consist in the substitution of liquid gascoming from black oil for electricity to cook food and water heatingfor human use in residential areas, a prototype Toroidal Coil (TC)for a water heater Magnetic Induction (MI) is presented in thisarticle.Its operation is rooted in an inverter DC-AC in Sinusoidal PulseWidth Modulation (SPWM) used for driving high frequency wavesthru the winding of the coil, generating resistive losses transmittingheat to the hydraulic fluid the moment that this fluid gets in contactwith the core coil the ferromagnetic implemented.This way it is insured the maximum heat transfer, showing thatthe magnetic fields generated by this prototype are within thestandards issued by the ministry of environment regarding the levelsof electromagnetic fields to which people is exposed in this case dueto the fields produced by the TC.
