Resumen:
QUBIC (Q and U Bolometric Interferometer for Cosmology) is an ambitiousproject to measure the polarization of the Cosmic Microwave Background(CMB), which can provide unique information on the very early universeand the cosmic inflation process. The QUBIC instrument combines theextreme sensitivity of cryogenic bolometers and the accurate control ofbeam-forming and auto-calibration ability of interferometers. Theinstrument is being finalized and calibrated for a first installation atthe Alto Chorrillo high altitude site (Salta province, Argentina) inlate 2018, and will produce, in the first two years of operation, asensitive measurement of CMB polarization, able to detect a tensor toscalar ratio for B-modes 0.01.
