Resumen:
We are interested in the plastic modifications of adult hippocampal networks produced by the incorporation of newly generated dentate granule cells. In my talk I will describe how new neurons become connected within the existing circuitry and discuss specific functional properties of adult-born neurons that may be critical for hippocampal function.
