The control of network-coupled nonlinear dynamical systems is anactive area of research in the nonlinear science community. Coupled oscillatornetworks represent a particularly important family of nonlinear systems, withmany applications. In this paper, we study the control of network-coupled limitcycle oscillators, particularly we present the complete synchronization dynamics of FitzHugh-Nagumo neurons coupled with gap junction. In order to synchronize all state variables in the neuron system, we regard the nonlinear feedback system as a multi-input multi-output system. Then, an exact decoupling feedback linearization algorithm and a state feedback with a Kalman Filter strategy are introduced respectively to design the synchronization controllers for the coupled neurons.We present a numerical example to demonstrate the effectiveness of the developed method.
