The Chill Block Melt Spinning process (CBMS) is used for the magnetic materials? production involved in theconstruction of electric machines, such as engines and transformers, improving substantially their performance, reachingenergy savings up to 80% in vacuum. Given the impact in the energetic saving, the CBMS technique is used toproduce amorphous and nanocrystalline materials on an industrial scale. These developments were validated throughempirical verifications on a laboratory scale [1] with the aid of materials? characterization tools. Besides, with the useof numerical simulation [2,3] its intended to know the variable?s performance involved in the laboratory process.
