Resumen:
In this paper, the energy management strategy (EMS) for an stand-alone hybrid renewable energy system integrating photovoltaic generation, wind turbines, batteries, electrolyzers and fuel cells is presented. An Economic Model Predictive Control (EMPC) with a minimization function formed by the operation and maintenance cost of each Element including physical and operational constraints is formulated, resulting in a mixed integer linear problem (MILP). The proposed EMPC-EMS is validated by simulation and compared with a rules-based EMS.
