Resumen:
The accuracy of spatial seed distributions estimated by means of intelligent seed sensors, i.e., naïve seed sensors with embedded microprocessors, is evaluated. Spearman correlation analysis is used to analyze sensor data coming from multiple repetitions of carefully controlled test bench experiments. The influence of the planter velocity, and the seed sensor position with respect tothe ground, are considered. Experimental results confirm that accurate spatial seed distributions can be estimated with intelligent seed sensors.
