Resumen:
The objective of this paper, is show the thermal and energetic evaluation of a social housing in Santiago del Estero city, in Argentina, and the proposals for its thermal and energetic optimization. The results obtained were: 1) Location and climatic characterization of the studied area; 2) Bioclimatic Strategies and Paterns determination; 3) Thermal and energetic analysis of the prototype envelope; 4) Proposals for emproving the thermal and energetic performance of the prototype envelope; 5) Thermal and energetic simulation of the prototypes: original and improved; 6) Energy Labelling; 7) Comparation with normed values; 8) Conclusions. In relation to its scopes, this research has generated orienting guidelines and strategies for proper production of affordable housing in this province.
