Resumen:
The aim of this work was to investigate the secondarypopulation (PS) of SM Tucumán,about they know and their perceptionof the risk of these practices.Made a survey ad-hoc to 959 students from 6 high schools (age 16.1 + 2.0 years).62% agreed with the use of Piercing (P) and 52%with Tattoos (T),55 % perceived that there is discrimination against those who use P and / or T, 91.8% not aware of legislation;54.2% unknown comorbidities,60% associated with the use of P and / or T to fashion; 73.6% want to use Pand / or Tand 26.4% would not. 36% already had Pand / or T.Preferred sites for P were: mouth, lips,tongue (49%), umbilicus (31%), ear (10.2%), eyebrows(8.3%) and nose (1.5%)and T wrist,arm, leg, ankle and back. 50.4% did it in a shop, a friend26.8%, 11.3% fair,11.5% themselves. A PS high percentage adheres  to use of P and T without having sufficientknowledge of the risks ofexposure. Consider relevanteducate and make riskprevention of these practices in thePS and develop healthpromotion strategies that become the student community actors exercising their right to health.
