Resumen:
In this work we present results from neutron radiography observations performed at the RA-6 experimental nuclear facility in Bariloche. First, we studied the prototype of a hydride-based hydrogen storage device. The technique allows visualizing the inner hydride space distribution and thus, to analyze the design parameters. In particular, we found that the hydride has been compacted at the lower part of the prototype after several cycles of hydrogen charge and discharge. Second, we have also applied the technique to the study of Zr/ZrH2 samples. In this case, we found a linear relation between the sample width/hydrogen concentration and the photograph grey scale. This information could be useful for the study of nuclear engineering materials and to determine their possible degradation by hydrogen pick up.
