Hydrogen-driven embrittlement of zirconium alloys has been an issue of extensive research dueto its importance in the nuclear industry. In this work, we study the hydrogen diffusivity and solubility in the M5 alloy. Measurements at ambient temperature, where no data is available in the literature, were performed by electrochemical techniques. For measurements at working-conditions temperature (~300°C), a gaseous-state hydrogen permeation equipment was developed.
