Resumen:
We propose Proper othogonal decomposition with spectral methods applied on the POD time coefficients. The modes describe the dynamics of the flow, based on the energy spectra. An inspection of the associated spatial modes helps to identify the flow features that can be associated with the frequency of interest. We have illustrated our approach considering time-resolved PIV data of fluid in turbulence bidimensional in Soap Film channel. Looking at the kinetic energy spectrum, it is easy to clearly observe the inertialrange in the inverse cascade and enstrophy cascade. Also not observed intermittency. The Chronos-Koopman spectral method in the analysis of the modes for the frequencies, showing the interaction of large and small structures in the turbulent flow, unlike the Fourier spectral method.
