Resumen:
I will present an overview of joint work with S. di Rocco, B. Nill,R. Piene, A. Rittatore, and M. Vergne on the description of duals oftoric varieties and the relation with the associated polytopes/latticeconfigurations. The interplay between algebraic geometry andcombinatorics allows us to prove algebro-geometric statements withcombinatorial tools and combinatorial statements withalgebro-geometric tools.
