Resumen:
We present an actuator fault tolerantcontrol scheme based on a bank of virtual actua-tors in the context of sampled-data systems, capableof preserving closed-loop properties even under iso-lated sample loss. The controller and the bank of vir-tual actuators operate coordinated by the controllerin discrete-time, with the goal of preserving stabilityand set-point tracking objectives under total actuatorlosses. At every sampling time instant, the controllerdetermines the next instant at which it will execute acontrol action. We assume that the controller becomesaware of the sample loss and takes appropriate mea-sures accordingly. To this effect, we propose a con-trol algorithm capable of preserving the control andreconfiguration objectives under both total actuatorfaults and sample loss, and provide design aspects inorder to preserve such objectives.
