Resumen:
G22.7-0.2 and G25.5+0.0 are two Galactic radio sources. The former was classified as a supernova remnant (SNR) during a survey of the Galactic plane carried out at 408 and 5000 MHz using Molonglo and Parkes telescopes, respectively, while the nature of G25.5+0.0 is less clear. At present it is considered as a new candidate SNR on the basis of an X-ray study carried out with ASCA. TeV gamma-ray emitting regions HESS J1832-093 and HESS J1837-069 were recently discovered in the vicinity of G22.7-0.2 and G25.5+0.0, respectively. The nature of the high energy emission is not, however, firmly determined yet. We report on the first dedicated full-synthesis imagingof the radio emission in both radio sources, obtained with the Giant Meterwave Radio Telescope (GMRT) at 610 and 1280 MHz. We also conduct, using the GMRT at the same frequencies, the search for pulsations that would allow us to discover a still undetectedradio pulsar in G22.7-0.2 and G25.5+0.0. Our results constitute a valuable tool to differentiate between possible physical processes responsible for the high-energy HESS sources associated with G22.7-0.2 and G25.5+0.0.
