Resumen:
This paper aims to "contribute to reducing the consumption of drinking water for purposes that do not require".Its objectives are:? Design, develop and transfer an unconventional system for that purpose,? Improve the health and habitability conditions. To this end, also propose to create and perform: a strategy of "Participatory Action Research" as social practice of knowledge production that seeks social transformation seen as a whole and that occurs in the action itself and contributes to it", a system capable of replacing conventional toilet cistern and allows to reuse and store water used in lavatory and then be discharged to toilets of sanitarian cores. As for the results achieved, they were developed in two stages which are:1. the development of the theoretical framework; the study of backgrounds; the geographical areas analysis of application; the generation of possible solutions to the system; the selection of the best proposal,2. setting overcomes proposal; preparation of technical documentation; design construction process; adjusting its functionality, use and maintenance; its construction, experimentation and evaluation. In conclusion it was obtained that this system is "adaptable" and "affordable" because it presents easy constructive and placement in work; characteristics that make it a "adoptable product" in different types of architectural objects and a "sustainable product" that enables the protection of the environment.
