Resumen:
The recently introduced semi-quasi-Z-source inverter is a single phase inverter with only two active switches which are controlled complementarily. It can be represented by means of a switched system where each subsystem is neither asymptotically stable nor detectable from the output. This paper provides large-signal stability conditions for the switched model of the inverter connected to any linear dynamic load with strictly positive real admittance operating in Complementary Conduction Mode. The task was performed by means of the natural energy function of the system as the Lyapunov function. It was proved that the inductor currents and the capacitor voltages of the inverter will remain bounded and ultimately bounded, imposing reasonable operating limitations on the switching signal. These results are important for the operation of the inverter under closed-loop control.
