The Amorphous Welding Method Applied to Join Cr-Mn Steel Tube

Cr-Mn steel tubes have been bonding by means of Transient Liquid Phase technique using an melt-spun Fe-B-Si amorphous ribbon. It was studied the effect of the different processing condition on the quality of the bonding. The microstucture was characterised by X-ray diffraction and SEM-EDX. Microhardness was measured across the bonding line.
