Resumen:
Several experimental results have been reported concerning fast electron emission in ion-atom collisions [1]. In addition to the very well known electron emission mechanisms such as electron capture/loss into de projectile continuum, soft electron emission, binary or knock-on electron emission, and projectile or target auto-ionization, during last three decades, interference effects have been included to the discussion of electron spectra. The so-called quantum interference effects were first investigated at the end of the eighties and beginning of nineties by different groups [2]. Many years later of the first experimental evidence a quantum mechanical calculation was presented by Monti et al [3] giving a simple and more intuitive picture of the effect. These results showed the presence of two structures near the binary emission due to the interference of Short and Long range-projectile potential interaction in the emission of target electrons.Calculations were able to reproduce the spectra of fast electrons emitted in U21+ on He targets, and other systems with multiply charged ions (I7+, I23+, Au11+, etc) with different targets. We resumed the same idea with the purpose of searching for quantum interferences with lighter projectiles with smaller energies. In the present work we show electron spectra from Alq+and Siq+ on H2 and He targets for projectile energies within the range 2.7 ? 7 MeV and for several emission angles. Our results are interpreted with the help of quantum mechanical CDW and CDW-EIS approximations, and classical trajectory Monte Carlo calculations.
