Resumen:
We studied the effect of geometrical effects in
the solidification of mesoscopic vortex matter nucleated in micron-sized $Bi_{2}Sr_{2}CaCu_{2}O_{8
+\delta}$ samples with sizes ranging 10
to 100 mm and 2 mm
height. We study the effect of square
and circular geometrical confinement for the mesoscopic solid phase with a low surface-to-volume
ratio of vortices. We characterize the
structural properties of systems with less than 1000 vortices with single-vortex
resolution by means of magnetic decoration experiments. We study the positional and orientational
deformation of this mesoscopic vortex matter due to the proliferation of
topological disorder induced by edge-effects.
