Resumen:
There is an increasing use of Global Climate Models (GCMs) simulation in hydrological climate change impact studies. However, biases in GCMs and their coarse resolution makes the use climate simulation as direct input data for impact studies imposible. Consequently, bias correction techniques and downscaling methods are used to bridge the gap between Climate and Hydrologic Models in order to study climate change impacts at a basin level. A validation is carried out using correction factors derived from simulated and observed precipitation and temperature from period 1981-91 and then applied to simulated data from 1991-2000 and subsequently compared with observations
