Resumen:
Generally, TL dosimetry application with CVD diamond assumes that the measuredTL signal is linear with dose and independent of the dose rate. In the present work we reportthe TL properties of CVD synthetic diamond exposed to dose rates of 43.5 and 81.11 Gy/minat high gamma radiation doses of the order of 10 kGy. It is shown that the high dose rate of81.11 Gy/min yields a superlinear dose behaviour with a sudden TL increase for a dose higherthan 600 Gy, providing evidence of the existence of dose and dose rate dependence on the TLperformance of CVD diamond. Therefore dose rate effects in a given dose rate range shouldbe expected and taken into consideration in TL dose measurement involving CVD diamond
