Resumen:
The purpose of this project is to evaluate the possibilities of introducing alternative technologies with photovoltaic panels for electricity production for domestic use at a neighborhood level, towards a sociocultural change, for a responsible use and consumption of energy, through the efficient use of natural resources. The theme is developed, and process of analysis comparing two paradigmatic sectors of a metropolitan area of Latin America. As a result both hypotheses are tested highlighting the benefits these systems evidence in the energy efficiency for users and the minimum levels of environmental pollution.
