Linkages between Gender, sexuality and age in youth studies: ideological assumptions and critical social analysis operations

NOTA: SE ADJUNTA LA VERSION EN ESPAÑOL DEL TRABAJO. ABSTRACT: The paper outlines a map of the main coordinates that organizes the socioanthropological studies devoted to the analysis of the links between gender, age, and / or sexual orientation in relation to young men / women in Argentina. For that, it proposes a critical review from two key analytical axes in the transformation of this subfield of local youth studies in recent years. A historical axis, in order to relieve modes of theoretical and methodological development of these joints in flagship researches on local urban youths since the resumption of democracy to the current context. And a political-epistemological axis, that allows to explore the ideological implications (theoretical, political, writing and intervention) of this production, both in terms of the guidelines that have defined the scientific status of the field of youth studies in our country, as broader social contexts, facing the impact of the demands of rights by groups relatived to gender and sexual diversity issues and the processes of their political struggles in the framework of the new cultural and legal context of the country.
