Resumen:
Previous studies from our laboratory have shown that LPS treatment stimulates adrenal steroid synthesis in Y1 cells, by a mechanism involving NFkB-dependent COX-2 activation. Present studies were designed to further describe the signaling cascades that lead to COX-2 induction, focusing on p38 MAPKs and PI3K/AKT signaling pathways. Our results showed that LPS treatment of Y1 cells significantly induces p38 MAPK and AKT phosphorylation (p
