Stellar kinematics of M83

We determine the spatial distribution and radial velocity dispersion of the stellar population in M83 central region. We used near infrared spectra obtained in CASLEO, trough several position angles. We analyzed the mass distribution inferred from these data. The new results are compared with the previous ones obtained for the ionized gas in Bosque Alegre, CASLEO and Gemini.
