Resumen:
A 53-years-old female patient, with a history of cancer of cervix uteri and lung cancer, was referred to our hospital complaining the swelling and bleeding at maxillary molar region. The lesion was 18 x 16 mm in size with erosive surface and induration. The lesion was spreading out from alveolar bone into maxillary sinus and buccal mucosa in the MRI image. With the diagnosis of malignant tumor, biopsy followed by surgical resection was performed. Histologically, the tumor was composed of spindle cells with strong invasiveness, and bone-like calcified materials were observed in between tumor cells. Tumor cells showed positive immunoreactions for vimentin, focally positive for alpha-SMA, but negative for desmin or S-100.
