Epidemiology research on geohelmintosis often give explanations that blame patient´s habits from the parasitic infestation. Anthropological perspective allows us to question the concepts of health and environment that are usually used in epidemiological papers and comparing them with an integral conceptions of environment. Showing the example of a research made in the city of Orán, (Salta-Argentina) on Strongyloides stercolaris, we can see how a new concept of environment encourage us to plan different methodology strategies.
