Flora de gran relevancia cultural entre los guaraníes de Misiones, Argentina

This study was carried out in 10 (ten) Mbya Guarani communities in the province of Misiones.The objective of this work is to determine the plants of great cultural importance among theGuarani of the province of Misiones, Argentina. To identify species of cultural importance,free lists were used with the interlocutors, then the cognitive relevance index (S) wascalculated. In total, 54 species of vascular plants were mentioned, distributed in 27 botanicalfamilies. Of the mentioned species, all angiosperms, 47 dicotyledons and 7 monocotyledons.
