Gamma-synuclein (γS) elevated expression has been reported in various cancers such as ovarian, breast and colorrectal cancer, but to date there are no rigorous studies to address the role this protein could have in progression of melanoma. Our goal was to analyze if γS was related to melanoma development. For that, we worked with mouse (B16F0, B16F10) and human (SKMEL28, A375) melanoma cells. By Western Blot (WB), real-time PCR (qPCR) and immunocytochemistry (ICC) we observed the expression of ɣS in these cells.
