Unveiling the nature of the Cygnus OB2 region in the light of Gaia DR3

The Cyg OB2 association region displays a complex spatial structure along the line of sight, featuring several open clusters (OCs), an association, and two proper motion overdensities (these ones discovered by our group in 2021).Recently, we have performed an astrophotometric analysis of the OCs in the region. We identified four new OCs and refined the parameters of the remaining 20.In this meeting, we present an analysis of the main structures (stellar association and proper motion overdensities) in the Cygnus OB2 region using astrometric and photometric data from Gaia DR3. The HDBSCAN algorithm is applied to obtain astrometric parameters (mean proper motion, mean parallax) and identify members. The photometric analysis leads to estimate the age and determine the value of A_v using PARSEC isochrones with solar metallicity, thereby confirming stellar membership.The results will contribute to understand the region´s structure, the correlations between the age, distance, and kinematics of all stellar groups, and their star formation history.
