Alignment between user preferences in sharing media outlets and political biases

In this work, we studied the Argentine media news consumption by Twitter users during the period from March to October 2019, which mainly comprises the period of presidential elections that took place in Argentina during 2019. Specifically, we study the activity of $\sim$12K users who generated ~1M tweets sharing ~68K unique news from 19 Argentinian media outlets, in perspective of  analyzing the relationship between the media consumption behaviour of the users and the political leaning of the media outlets they share in social media.
