Resumen:
Multiple studies have indicated that internal and environmental factors can significantly influence the star formation of galaxies. We construct a sample of galaxies in and around groups drawn from the hydrodynamical cosmological simulations IllustrisTNG 300-1. We classify galaxies around groups according to their orbits: group members (GR), recent infallers (RIN), backsplash galaxies (BS), and infall galaxies (IN). In addition, we classify BS according to their star formation activity. We analyse the transition from star-forming to quenched galaxies. Our preliminary results suggest that an important fraction of green galaxies are BS, suggesting that the first incursion of galaxies through the group environment can significantly diminish their star formation.
