Resumen:
There is considerable evidence that adverse experiences in childhood cause chemical, functional, and behavioral changes in the neuronal development of the human being, which would negatively impact the emotional health of adolescents, exposing them to different vulnerable episodes. The objective of this work was to analyze whether the impact of adverse experiences in early stages of life affects the emotional health of adolescents and their psychological vulnerability. The methodology used was an observational, non-randomized, consecutive, analytical, open, prospective cohort study. Three scales were applied, two of which evaluate depression (Hamilton and Beck test) and one evaluates anxiety (Hamilton test). A sample of 186 adolescents divided into 3 groups: Control, 1st year students and 4th year students.
