Trabajado presentado a través de un archivo de PPoint.ResumenThis article seeks to make a contribution to a specific discussion within the postphenomenological debate, namely, the identification of a set of characteristics that a human-technology relationship must possess in order to be considered as dominantly hermeneutic. After presenting the main features of a conception -widely accepted among postphenomenologists- that holds that there is a continuum of human-technology relations, this paper will attempt to explicitly delineate the characteristics of a family of artifacts where the hermeneutic dimension is dominant. This task will be carried out via the introduction of the key notion of interface. A series of conditions will be presented for an artifact to be included into this family, which will be called “hermeneutic interfaces”.
