Resumen:
Several differential scanning calorimetry continuous heating measurements were performed on amorphous Fe73.5Si13.5B9Nb3-xMoxCu1 (x = 0, 1.5, 2 and 3) ribbons obtained by the melt spinning technique. It was observed that the gradual replacement of Nb by Mo reduced the Fe–Si as well as the boride onset temperatures. The Curie temperature of the amorphous phase slightly diminished from 594 K for x=0 to 587 K for x=3 (error + 1 K). Differential thermal analysis continuous heating runs were also carried out on the amorphous ribbons and crystalline master alloys for a more comprehensive study.
