Four expert scientists will share their team’s research results on bovine leukemia virus (BLV). Dr. Scott Wells will provide insight of a phylodynamic approach to a novel BLV diagnostic tool. Dr. Chris Kellogg will discuss how BLV diagnostic outputs may change throughout a lactation cycle of an infected cow. Irregularities of immune cell function caused by BLV will be led by Dr. Paul Coussens, and Dr. Silvina Gutiérrez will provide insight of genetically BLV-resistant cattle as a means to control BLV infections within herds. The webinar will end with a question-and-answer discussion among presenters and participants. We hope you are able to join us for the informative BLV webinar and discussion.
