Stabilization of fixed points in chaotic piecewise smooth continuous maps. A first approach.

Delayed feedback control laws, like time delayed autosynchronization (TDAS), its extended version (ETDAS), the oscillating feedback control (OFC), etc., have been proved to work for stabilization on an unstable fixed point, when applied to chaotic smooth maps. In this brief work, we start looking over the performance of these methods, by means of four worked examples, when applied to one dimensional piecewise-smooth continuous maps.
