 We contrast two simple delayed feedback control laws when applying to stabilize an unstable single orbit of a one-dimensional discrete time nonlinear system. We also propose a novel and simple periodic delayed feedback control and present some stability results. As an application we use it to stabilize a fixed point of the two-folded iterated logistic map.
