Resumen:
Sepsis is characterized by a late immunosuppression (IS) establishment that promotes secondary reinfections, in which both anti-inflammatory cytokines such as IL10 and myeloid cell expansion are strongly involved. Among the etiological agents are gram-negative bacteria whose lipopolysaccharides (LPS) have a crucial role. Our aim is to characterize functional aspects of myeloid cells, their relationship with IL10 and understand their IS involvement. For this, BALB/c mice IL-10 deficient inoculated or not (KO) with increasing LPS doses (KOIS) were used. Clearance assessment: Intranasal instillation with Pseudomona aeruginosa (5*107 UFC/ml). Flow cytometry: Blood respiratory burst capacity and splenocytes proliferation in co-culture. In mice KOIS peripheral blood a significant increase of myeloid cells was observed (CD11b/Ly6G/Ly6C (absN°): KO=2,8*106±3,7*106; KOIS=1,3*107±7,4*105, p
